What Can I do to fix it
Pop outta 5 and started making a grinding sound
2014 Honda Civic won’t start. Dash lights come on but only hear clicking when the key is turned. Tried jumping w/ no successful.
While driving I thought I was striking the button that raises the driver's side window (obviously, I could not take my eyes off the road to be sure I was striking the right button). Evidently what I actually did was strike the button below that switch. There are two buttons below the window control buttons that have dashes on them. When I hit that button I heard a click that sounded like it was coming from one of the other windows. What did I do, and how do I undo it?

I have checked my manual (2017 Civic Honda LX) but see nothing on these buttons with dashes.
Hi there,

I am in desperate need of a mechanic’s input. Please help if you can. Long story short but we had a pinhole in the CV Boot of our Honda Civic. We had the CV Boot repaired. The CV Boot was not installed correctly and the shaft came off of the car when my wife made a turn. We took it back to the Mechanic where we had the work done and they repaired it again. They admitted it was human error and they forgot a step when they installed the CV Boot. They apologized, repaired it and put a new (refurbished) axle on the car.

We drove it for a couple of days and noticed something was not right with the vehicles steering. We took it back to them and they said something is wrong with the steering rack but it was probably not related to other work done. The rack needs to be replaced. We took it for a second opinion and they noticed a crack in the transmission housing that was repaired with JB weld. The second Mechanic also said there was a problem with the steering rack. We figure that the crack in the transmission happened with the first Mechanic and they covered it up without telling us about it. The second opinion Mechanic also said that he almost never sees these types of issues with steering racks as it is electronic steering.

Our concern is now we are told we have to replace the steering rack and it is unrelated to other work done. We are extremely efficient and meticulous when it comes to our cars and we always have it in for regular service (hence why we had CV boot replaced in first place). It is a 2012 Honda Civic LX (sedan). Is there any way that the steering rack issue could be related to CV Boot replacement, axle replacement or other work first Mechanic did? Your help is greatly appreciated. We are honest people who just want to ensure we are getting the same honesty and truth from our Mechanic.

Please let me know as soon as possible. Once again, we thank you so much for your help.
iwhen i start my car the horn sounds 3times quickly....need this to stop
Water went inside car during hurricane Harvey it will start but won't move no water in oil engines ok do you think it's the transmission when you put in gear does nothing or maybe one of the computers that is on passenger side foot area on the left side cause it looks pretty corroded. I'm trying to get an estimate so I can receive some kind of help and there asking for estimate can you possible help please.
It hit hard and made an aggressive noise. Not a smooth bump. I had the shocks replaced on the front end with (I think) KBG shocks. I was told ball joints and bearings were all good. The CV boot was replaced, front rotter also replaced and the engine mount at the transmission was also replaced. There was no change and it still hit hard on bumps. A mechanic friend also confirmed the stiff ride. I took it back and the shocks were replaced with Monroe shocks on the front end. Still no change and hits hard. The mechanic said he looked at everything else and it looked good. I do notice a vibration when backing up on cold days so maybe the passenger side engine mount is bad? Again the mechanic also checked that and said it was ok. This is frustrating. I know its a 2006 but should it ride smooth at bumps with a good / new suspension? What is missing?
would not crank over even though battery was good ?
would buzz when turning the key, then after a pause and try again would start up normally
now buzzing and will not start, battery fully charged
front end and back making a lot of noise especially when driving over bumps
