Air Bag fault, AFS Fault, Parking Brake fault - lock the Transmission in park
What is your question?
Used to get an occasional Air bag Fault and Rare AFS Fault that would self fix. Then we got the Parking Brake Fault was able to clear that once by taking the battery out for 15 minute which got me home. However now I have permanent AFS, Air Bag and Parking Brake Faults this also causes the Transmission to lock in Park (Only way you can move it is to bypass the Transmission Interlock) Tried replacing the parking brake Switch,Motors Calipers and checked the electrical connections. None of the faults will clear. And all the tricks to reset the computer get you nothing!!! Checked for bad Ground wires, mouse chew fuses everything is fine. 2007 VW Passat Wagon V6.
