I am about to replace the water pump and was wondering if i should replace the timing chain at the same time due to the fact the car has high mileage and i know that it will need to be replaced soon. I simply want to know if the timing chain is only accessible by removing the water pump... a diagram would help...
nope, no need to touch the chain. it is external. Roy
