There is no water in oil, low side line is not collapsed, and heat/ac operate as they should. I'm stumped. No noticeable leaks. Only loses coolant at extended idle...new radiator cap

Sounds like an air pocket in the cooling system. But not, and with no external leaks, you could indeed have an internal engine coolant leak. I wouldn't assume that though. Have you had any cooling system repairs lately?
