THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR ALMOST A YEAR.. ADDED NEW GAS BUT THE FUEL PUMP WOULD NOT WORK, THERE SEEM TO BE NO POWER TO THE PUMP? THE RELAY IS NOT BEHIND THE BATTERY AS SHOWN IN THE REPAIR MANUAL??

Trouble Shooting Bosch KE-Jetronic Fuel Injection, which is on your car, is not easy. I used to work for Bosch and did a lot of work on these cars. try here for some trouble shooting instructions and a parts locator. The EFI relay is a large black device, it does not look like a normal relay, it is more of a control unit. http://bit.ly/alldata_repair_manuals
Listen for fuel pump operation. Check for voltage at the pump if the pump isn't working. If there is no voltage, replace the relay. If the fuel pump is working, buy a crankshaft position sensor. They get bad with time, so much so I carry a spare. If that doesn't reslove the problem, replace the cap and rotor.
