Judi are you familiar with the estimator link at the repairpal homepage? It allows you to enter your zip code and get estimate for your area and will list what is included in the estimate. Can also use "Find a Shop" link for your area to help with shop. If unsure then use friends recommendations. I have found that if go with the friend to the shop when they recommend someone that the shop feels more pressure to meet your expectations so the friend still sees them in a good light.
