I recently replaced the fuel pump and the spark plugs in my 2013 Hyundai Sonata but when I step on the gas it barely moves. I have checked the high pressure fuel lines as well to make sure fuel is getting to the pump. I'm stumped, any advice?

My car was stolen a few months ago and recently recovered 200 miles away. It had some body damage which was fixed through my insurance but they refused to fix the mechanical issues. They said it was the fuel pump and that it was a pre-existing condition. I replaced that myself but the car still won't drive.

What makes this problem better or worse?
