give it fuel and it dies

Perhaps change the fuel filter it is on the firewall in the engine compartment (quite easy to change), call the Honda dealership give them the VIN number of your car and see if the electrical portion of the ignition switch was replaced under the recall Honda had for them. The main fuel pump relay fails often on these but I would verify fuel pump pressure and volume delivery before just replacing parts.
