Temperature On Dash

What is your question?

My temperature on my dash don't reach normal temp when hot, yet I never see this before, I drove 135 miles and the engine is not hot only warm. I don't think this is normal, I have 149,000.00 miles.. I bought my truck not long ago, motor sound like a car, very silence, smooth, no noise, when stop, don't shake, powerful, It is not normal, my brother have the same truck different color and his not sound like mine, same year. I never see this before. Please help
