IN 4WD MY TRUCK STEERS HARD AND MAKES NOISE, IT IS A MECHANICAL NOISE, A THUMP, OR A RUB. THE TRUCK ONLY HAD 29054 MILES ON IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT, 64,599 NOW. I NEVER USED THE 4WD UNTIL THIS WINTER.

*ALL 4x4's* will "steer hard" with 4x4 selected 'and active' while turning on DRY pavement... It's referred to as 4x4 'bucking'... The noise needs to be checked out hands-on by qualified personnel and visually inspected for a problem, possibly a constant velocity joint on one of the axles or a front driveshaft universal joint issue... Refrain from using 4WD on dry pavement!
