What is your question?
This only happens when car sits over night. Longer car sits over night more tries it takes to start. Once started and heats up it's fine rest of day. Runs great. It's summer now. No check engine light at all. Cleaned corroded battery post and cables. Battery is fine. Started acting up two weeks after driver front strut broke and had both front struts replaced alignment and other front end parts.

After it has been sitting for awhile, try turning the key to the "On" position and waiting about 5 seconds before attempting to start the car. If that works, I would suspect your fuel pressure regulator.
Just to be clear.... Engine is not cranking (turning) until you try it 3 times?.... 3 clicks then it cranks and starts?? ... Or it is cranking (turning) but not starting up....
After sitting in garage over night When I turn the key to start position engine is not cranking (turning) just a click. After about 3-7 attempts turns over engine cranks starts right up. Once engine is running never stalls idles then I put in drive take off and runs just fine. Once engine heats up during my drive to office (18 miles) park shut car off. I'm in and out all day, car starts throughout the day just fine. One morning after starting I drove to corner station half mile away. Shut off car. I had same issue no crank no start till after 3 plus tries. (Didn't warm completely up) car has 132,000 miles. I drive 3000 miles a month. Change my filter and oil every 3-4k miles. KN air filter. No hard stops or drives. Car has been so reliable and awesome to drive. I hope this clarifies symptoms
Suspect starter contacts worn 'inside' the starter motor!!!.... If it will click...click...click then start right up, without doing anything else... Replace the starter! .... This starter is just like the one Toyota uses...... After it warms up the contact plunger will hit the two contacts with more force and start, no problem, until is cools again...... It WILL get worse eventually and do it all the time! ........ Post the 'fix' results..... BTW... Anyone that has ever worked on a Toyota starter, should know about the starter motor contact troubles after all this time.... I would think!... They ain't changed them in 40 years!!!
New info. on way.....processing.....Have the charging system checked. Suspect the battery may just be going bad....That is giving you hard to start condition. After warmed up, the battery is now recharged by the alternator but, as it sits, the battery slowly loses this charge. Good luck! Use a multimeter and check voltage of battery before you start the vehicle in the morning.
Thank you for new info. I checked the battery before attempting to start vehicle. Battery is reading 12.80 Volts is the highest reading I get. After checking battery I attempted to start the motor I turned the key engine cranking started right up as normal as can be. I'm baffled at this point. I will check battery each morning to eliminate or find battery to be the cause. I'm open to any suggestions to find solution
Give the terminal and connectors a good 'ream' out to remove any apparent oxidation to help with conductivity as well.
Ok I will have the starter checked out. I experienced the it will only get worse. Yesterday morning turn the key no crank no engine turning over just one click each time I turned key to start. I wasn't sure if I was ever going to get it to start. After 30+ tries it finally started right up. This morning after checking battery volts. Once I ruled out low battery got in turned the key started right up first try. I will post the fix once I established the cause. Thank you for all input.
You might as well have the starter replaced before it reaches the point that it will NOT crank at all.!!!!!!!!...SOON!
I have had no time to take car in to get looked at. I stopped at auto zone in evening by me. I asked them to check my battery, came back with replace battery. I had one more auto shop check for 2nd opinion and said the same thing replace battery. The last 3 mornings I got in the car and it started right up with not 1 complaint. When I replace the battery (hopefully this weekend) and all my complaints are gone. I'll post and verify fix results. Thanks again for all your input. BTW this car has been reliable. I average about 3k miles a month. Tires, brakes, gas, and oil changes every 3k miles struts and some front end parts is all I have had to do so far since I bought the car with 73k miles this December will be 2 years. I now have 133,400 miles still going strong. No regrets!!!
Thanks for your input. I'll try doing just that in the morning and advise outcome. When I turn the key to on position I hear the relays etc. but have not waited any length of time before starting. Tomorrow I am hoping I'll be telling you that's it. Lol thanks again
