My 2000 tahoe is not running. When i pour water into the reservoir it comes out at the back of the intake mainfold. Whats going on there

Hello, I'm not sure I understand how water / coolant being poured in could cycle out of a different location with the vehicle not running. It's possible there is a leaking reservoir and the water travels - but I can't possibly guess. The good news is that whatever is happening is very visible and as a result should be easy to troubleshoot.
