I have a 2011 BMW 535i & I recently had my water pump replaced last year in July. I bought the original BMW Water Pump and it’s already leaking again, is that on the mechanic ?

Last year I had a serious coolant leak issue, My mechanic recommended me to replace my water pump so I purchased the original replacement and had him put it in. Here we are in March, I took it to another Mechanic due to the fact that coolant fluid was still leaking out, they check the water pump and they said that Water Pump has a severe leak ? Why is this happening it’s a brand new Water Pump ?
