Q: Question Saturn Relay Thermosat on 2006 Saturn Relay

My heat in my 2006 Saturn Relay doesn't work when it is cold out, but it seems to work ok when it is warm (over 50 degrees). Anyway, I think it is the thermostat, so I got a thermostat to replace the current one, but I am not sure exactly where it is located on the engine. Can someone help me?

i had to just replace ours in our 2006 relay. It is a pain to get too. Not trying to scare u off but you have to have some patiences. Also it takes a special type of tool to take out the bolts. If your looking at the engine, look at the right and you will have to take the air filter off and then under all of that follow the radiator house to the engine block one of the bolts is easy to take off the one that is farther towards the back is the worse. i told my wife next time i will take it to a garage. I hope i helped you on this.
My 2005 relay needs a thermostat replaced. Looks like there's a lot of stuff in the way that might need to be removed just to get to it. Did you have to remove anything else besides the air filter housing and hose? If so what else?
I believe the thermostat is located in the housing where the lower radiator hose connects to the engine block of the 3.9L V6 engine in your 2006 Saturn Relay
