Purge soleniod

(1997 Ford E-150)
in Woburn, MA on January 18, 2010
I was told the vapor canister is under the rear of the van near spare tire. OK, where is the purge solenoid located? is that near the canister or up front in the engine compartment?

Found it myself, it's connected directly to the vapor canister. 15 minute operation start to finish to replace valve and canister.
