Purchased a 1948 flathead ford truck its over heating. Mechanic suggestions?

V-8 F1 Ford over heating on the freeway but not on the streets.

Have it Scanned for trouble codes!!!!..... Had to do it!.... Possible radiator restriction or one of the water pumps is not working properly.... Need old Joe to look at this one, if you can find him!

You bet... BTW... I know a mechanic that can 'make' a flathead Ford in his sleep if you need more info!! He does frame off restorations....

I found a guy in San Gabriel at a mechanic shop that owns old Fords and is willing to check it out. I'll let you know how he does and if I need additional help. Much appreciation!!!
