(1990 Porsche 911)

I was informed to avoid looking at 1990-91 Porsche 911's. Is there a reason?

Unless you have a shop that is reasonable and can repair these cars as just finding parts for these can be a headache

They are not bad cars, but their engines had a rather huge problem. The cylinder sleeves would come loose causing multiple issues. Porsche went through a few different engine replacements before they finally got it right. So, basically, if the owner can prove that the engine has been replaced, it may not be a bad investment.
