Price of the camshaft sensor and part number

Engine light on and code given is p0340 so I'm trying to find out how much it will cost to replace the camshaft sensor. We can't seem to locate it on my 2002 ford taurus se which is a 3.0 L V6 12 valve

depends on whether the housing is damaged or not as to how much parts would be. it is located under the intake plenum and wiring harness near the throttle body. two 5.5mm bolts hold the sensor on. once it's off, check the metal vane that the sensor reads in the sensor housing. if it's o.k., just replace the sensor. if it's damaged, you'll have to replace the housing too. there's a special tool you need to time the sensor housing at #1 top dead center.
