Ensure it is the pump first before replacing it. You may need to wash off the area first and get a friend to turn the steering from side to side with the engine running, inspect and see that it not a high pressure hose or steering rack leak before replacing parts. Autozone have some repair manuals for popular vehicles on line for free, I think you need to sign up and give them your email address. There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You get a one year subscription to year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual. http://www.alldatadiy.com/
Its best to have the proper procedure and torque specs to do a proper repair.
