Power Steering

(2007 Ford Five Hundred)
in Kansas City, MO on May 26, 2010
My power steering goes out while slowing down to make a turn. It's done it three times since I bought it brand new. Is there anything that I can check, or change to fix it?

Your car seems far too new to ive this problem. Ford have a technical service bulletin about changing the fluid from the factory filled fluid to Mercon 5 fluid so they must have seen some problems. I am not familiar enough with that car to say there is a common problem with the steering rack or steering pump pressure.
