the driver side power seat on my truck has a problem.... one side of the rail system will slide but the other side will not.... fuses have been checked and they are good... do i need to replace the rail system or is there a motor that just needs to be replaced?

Sounds like only one gear set is working, so only one side of the seat is moving. What I do, is I take out the whole seat and put it on the ground, upside down, then I use a battery to move the seat and look at what is binding or not working. It is pain, but I fix a lot of seats, 'really right' the first time.
