Power locks cycling

(1997 Acura CL)
in Fort Mill, SC on September 26, 2009
When the car is locked by remote or by key, the electric lock motor keeps cycling about every 8 to 12 seconds and wears down the battery. If I remove the electric lock fuse, the car will not start (security system??).What would cause this re-cycling of the lock motor and what is the fix?

Thanks

On of the lock actuators in the door are bad. Happens a lot on some Fords and Dodge Durango's but did do one on a CL for the same reason as you have. With the door panel removed inspect all the linkages and door lock assembly.
