Poor air flow from vents

(1992 Toyota Corolla)
in Staten Island, NY on July 13, 2010
Poor air flow from vents when using A/C or blowers in both air from outside & recirculated air.
A/C works fine & cools the car slowly, but the intensity of the air blowing thru all the vents is very poor (weak) at all 4 speeds. Blower motor was just replaced.
Would switching the wires on the blower motor increase
the strength of the air flow? or is it just dirt, dust, leaves under the hood which must be blocking fresh air from coming into the system? or both?

In short, yes. I just had the same problem - replaced blower motor and got very weak airflow with the new motor. I opened the dashboard back up and just switched the wires - now I have excellent airflow.

Which wires did you switch? I'm having the same problem and with 100+ degrees outside, it isn't fun. Thanks
