Passenger side of motor is covered with oil what could be the problem?

(1991 Chevrolet C1500)
Passenger side and bottom of motor all the way to the cross member is covered in oil what could be the problem i would gladly appreciate it it.

'IF' it is equipped with an automatic transmission .. The transmission fluid lines pass by the engine on the passenger side of the truck and if leaking that's likely the problem as the fluid is under pressure and will spray onto the engine and flow back to the crossmember.. Even show up on the rear bumper! .. Check the transmission fluid level..!!

Also check engine oil level .. Engine oil OR transmission fluid level 'should' be low!

You mean the engine? Valve cover gaskets or breather tube grommets possibly
