Paint is peeling on the roof?

(1997 Honda Accord)
in Alameda, CA on February 20, 2009
Is there anything I can do to deal with the paint peeling off the roof? I know the car is old but I don't want to deal with repainting it. Thanks.

Paint peeling is due to inferior quality of clearcoat or just leaving your car outside in the sun. There is no simple way to fix this, You need to get it painted and use a quality clearcoat.$$$$

The clear is not adhering to the base (color) coat. Unfortunately you can't re-clear the paint, it will need to be sanded down and repainted.

Starting to be really common on these cars from the 90s. Afraid you'll need a repaint to fix it. The UV rays are killing the clear coats

you need to get the roof repainted for sure
