Overheating

I had to replace parts on the front bottom of the engine n now the temp going over 3/4 hot n the a/c compressor is not hook up n not charged what is there is coolant is fill to the max

What parts did you replace, and did you reinstall all the plastic under the engine?

I replaced the oil pump & the harmonic balancer , and yes I replaced all the plastic under the engine , I

replaced the thermostat and antifreeze .

Could the thermostat by chance be in backwards and could the belt have been put on wrong causing the water pump to turn backwards.

thermostat is in the correct way , and checked the belt and it on the correct way
