Where is the oudside temperature sensor?
What would cause the reading to suddenly start being 8 - 14 degrees too hot?

The outside temperature. Like it is 28 degrees outside right now. It is related to the weather, not the engine temperature.
I suspect that it might affect the automatic temperature controls. Does anyone know more?
Thanks.
