Possible parasitic draw. Circuit is staying open to a light or function somewhere in the vehicle. In a totally dark environment, walk around the car looking for a light that is on (hood light, trunk light, radio amp, whatever). If you cannot find anything, take to a shop to find the parasitic draw.
