Oil was changed but light is not going out

(1999 Oldsmobile Alero)
in Roseville, CA on March 13, 2012
I know there is a trick to getting the oil light out but I can't find it. Some one said it was the fuse panel but I can't even find that. Please help me with this. Thank you.

with the motor off and the key on, depress the accelerator pedal to the floor 3 times and wait till the light blinks and goes out.
