I want to try replacing the oil pressure switch. Where is it? Thanks in advance.

Yes replace oil pressure switch first- you didn't specify motor size but most near oil filter or on pan. If this doesn't fix you may have problem with too heavy oil, dirty oil, oil pump- or clogged oil pump screen.

Idle speed should be somewhere around 700 rpm- if idles much lower you have another issue.

Thank you. I appreciate your reply and I'll replace the switch as a first option.
