I got a message " Oil change required". After changing oil, this message still persists despite resetting. What can be done

On the previous year model, set control to system check function, press and release the SET control to read XXX% hold set new, press and hold SET NEW, press and hold for 2 seconds or until display says 100%.

Hold down "SET" button and it will re-set to 3000 miles automatically
