O2 Senser problem

I keep putting WD-40 on it and it still wont come out on my 1987 mercedes benz

Soak it over night and if that does not work then see if you can get a product named Zep-40, that is corrosion eating oil I have ever used. Of course you are turning it counter clockwise to loosen it yes?
