No power to engine but power to int. lights and radio and outside lights.

nothing happens when iturn key except the head lights and tail lights and heater and radio and interior lights came on,turn the key off and take it out the head lights and evrything stay on i have to unhook batt. to turn off lights. nothing else on dash at all except the air bag light i can hear the fuel pump come on just no power to engine and now the other power to all the lights and things i mentioned is stuck on .checked all fuses,brand new batt, and alt.,starter is good too. any ideas please help.

to not starting - it could be the trans digital range sender, try jiggling gear selector in park maybe start in neutral if possible. could also be ignition cylinder
