No blower on front heat, a/c

(2002 Ford E-150)
in Calumet City, IL on December 01, 2009
I have no action on front vents, but heat seeps out as van warms up. Looking for the blower motor, but is there something to check before that? Of course I checked the fuse.

Can you hear the blower motor working? It may be the system that controls where the airflow is diverted that is having issues.
