2008 Nissan Quest Recall Details

RepairPal Expert Overview on March 22, 2010

The brake pedal is mounted under the driver's dash area onto a bracket. At this point of mounting, there is a pin that could slide out. This could cause the pedal to detach from the bracket. If this happens, the brake pedal would feel unusual and loose, and braking action may be compromised.

We at RepairPal have designated this a medium priority recall; this would change to high if any problems are noted with the brake pedal. Please contact your Nissan or Infiniti dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.

RepairPal Expert Overview on May 27, 2008

Manually adjusted front seats may not properly lock in the desired position, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

This should be considered a high priority recall. In the event of a crash, the front seats could move without warning. Please contact your Nissan dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
