My venture wont turn over when it did belt was burning

It acts like it wants to crank but wont

Turning over & cranking mean the same to a technician.

Are you saying that as you try to start it and as the engine is turning over , a belt is burning?
And it acts as if it wants to fire up ( run) it won't?

It sounds like there is a pulley that has seized
More than likely a tensioner or idler pulley. Although Alternators & Air conditioners have been known to seize up.

The belt needs to be removed & each pulley needs to be turned by hand.
the one you can't turn is the culprit
