My tail lights don't work. Brake lights do but blows fuse as soon as key turns

The moment you turn the key the fuse blows. I checked everywhere I could and nothing helps. It also blows the fuse on my alarm.

This is Tricky....put a higher amp fuse and keep your eyes and nose ready see where the smoke or smell coming from this should help you BE CAREFULL not to catch fire.

OR you could find the short in the trunk harness (broken wires in area along hinge) or an incorrect bulb installed incorrectly (it does happen!)........I would concentrate on the harness ...why cause more damage with a higher amp fuse?
