My speedometer is stuck at 38mph how can I get it unstuck,

is there something I can do to reset the speedometer?

yes, you can have the instrument cluster replaced.

Well this is what I did, I started the engine put the transmission into first gear and turned off the engine and placed the transmission in Park. I restarted the engine and whala the gauges worked just fine and has done so for the last 24 hours. My brother in laws son is a certified gm mechanic and he told me to try that, and it worked. Thanks for your help.

most likely the cluster is bad very common on gm veh approx cost is 450.00
