I have been having a problem shifting from park to reverse or drive without yanking very hard until one day I must have yanked too hard, now I only have reverse,no forward. It feels as if the linkage for forward gears came undone. Is it difficult to replace or repair the shifter linkage on a 1990 Honda Accord 4 cyl automatic

yes, it is straight forward. the console has to come up to gain acess to the cable.
under the car is the acess to the other end. pays only 1 hour in a shop.
