My S10 runs great in town but will not achieve high speeds on the highway.

It almost feels like there is a restrictor plate in it. I was driving down the highway about 60 the check engine light came on and the truck acted as if it lost power. I can accelerate from 0-45 just fine, but getting speed above that is tough

A "code reader" is a play toy and a joke - it is incapable of performing a real scan test!!

Plugged cadilic converter. Unbolt the triangle infront of it and take for a drive it will be loud but it will have proper power. Code reader DOES not read that problem
