My reair blows when the control knobs are turn off when air is turn off also so

put the air selector on recirculate not 'fresh' check owners manual , on some models it defaults to fresh on certain auto-climate control settings and you have to manually switch it IF your not sure what 'recirculate' button or symbol looks like , have someone who does , show you.
