My radiator is blowinjg out steam after a few mins of being started

(1990 Ford Taurus)

the radiator fan is not working if i jiggle the connection it will start to work for just a second is this my problem or do ineed a new radiator since so much steam is shooting out of it i also am having trouble locating where exactly the steam is coming from on the radiator

I suspect a blown head gasket or a stuck-closed thermostat having blown out the radiator from the pressure if you have steam coming from the radiator and can't see where it's coming from. If the radiator is ruptured, you'll probably need a new one. If the radiator fan is not working except when you wiggle the wires, that may have caused a blown head gasket or ruined the thermostat.
