My passport has poor heat.it has a 170 degree thermostat.is this a normal

can i put a bigger thermostat in it.any helpfull tips would be great

Thermostat called for opens between 166 to 173 fully open at 194 degrees. Have you tried changing the thermostat just in case its weak. I just had a Jaguar today, I had to disconnect the hoses at the heater core and flush/reverse flush the heater core to get the heater to start working/dislodge crap.
