My newly bought used 99 Deville,73kmileage gulped 5L in just around 1o Miles.

(1990 Cadillac DeVille)
in Fort Lauderdale, FL on November 25, 2012
The engine drives smooth, the temp ranges between 204-225. The gas was empty from the dealer, so I gased up 5L and by the time it covered like 10 miles, the gas meter signals empty. Is this normal consumption or terribly odd? What can I do please.

hmmm.........5L = 10 miles...so....1 gallon = 8 miles....not good. perhaps you should monitor your fuel consumption more diligently...it should be about 15 miles to the gallon.
