My front turn signals don't work.

(1990 Subaru Legacy)
in Fort Wainwright, AK on March 01, 2011
I recently purchased a 1990 subaru legacy. After i bought it I did a check to see if all the turn signals and lights worked. At the time they all worked. Since then both of my front turn signals went out. I checked the fuses and they are all good. The bulbs are also good. No idea what else it could be besides wiring.

You would have to look at a wiring diagram for your car to find where the problem is. Black /green wire brings power up to the left front turn signal, red/white brings power to the right front turn signal bulb. There is a connector that has both wires in it you probably have bad connections at that connector.

Since it's only the front bulbs that don't light up, AI think it's time for you to get the testlight or meter out and tracke the circuit for power and ground at the bulb sockets.. Check for connector problems like corrosion, water intrusiion.
