My car will start but wont stay running longer than 10 seconds

(1991 Pontiac Sunbird)
I've replaced the fuel pump (twice)7 fuel filters, 2 strainers, idle air controller, maf sensor, spark plugs and wires, throttle position sensor, fuel pressure relay, fuel pressure regulator, some vacuum lines. Car ran then loss power, limped to the side of the road and died, hasn't ran for more than 10 seconds at a time since. Gas tank was dropped, cleaned before the 2nd fuel pump was installed and 7th fuel filter. Car drove fine for about 20 miles then loss power and died, has ran longer then 10 seconds since

Do you have a gauge to TEST fuel PRESSURE? When it stalls is it from loss of spark , or fuel? How are you testing and verifying? Those answers will help isolate the problem.

The car starts on its own, spraying starter fluid into throttle body will keep it running. I don't have a gauge to test fuel pressure.

So , first STOP using starter fluid(ether)!!!! , second , By spraying fuel in it and it keeps running , that verifies loss of fuel supply , spark OK........Find out what a 'noid' light is and get one. Sounds to me like you are losing injector pulse. WHY , is what I'm hoping someone with more G.M. experience will answer , cause I ain't got a clue............, but I do know you should STOP buying parts , until you VERIFY the cause. Just a thought. Good luck.
