My car will go dead suddenly and I have no power and no brakes. What is it?

Vehicle totally losses power and I can get over to the side and sit for a minute and it will crank easily and go again, but the problem continues.Can You help me?

Have a scan test done to find any codes as to why engine dies.

The answer is trade in immediatley , hate to say it but go foriegn, or just beat it with a hammer , its unreal how many probl;ems FORD poroducts have, they must have the worse engineers money can buy, its a shame the American people are so stupid as to why they keep buying over priced crap. People are getting ripped off left and right, , don't by a escape, biggest piece of shit on the planet, stop buying these things and they will go belly up or start making a better vehicle...they all live high on the HOG while you work like a slave to pay for all their corporate yatchs
