My car just clicks when i go to start it.

Car is just clicking when you turn it over I have a brand new Duracell battery on 3 weeks ago.

Since you have a new battery, check the voltage, it needs to be at least 12.5 volts. if it is then you may have a worn out starter. If the voltage is very low, then you may have a charging system problem or a battery drain that drains down the battery when you are away from your car.

Assuming you've checked the battery and it's charged, check for battery voltage on the large battery cable on the starter. Check for battery voltage on the smaller START wire on the starter when your assistant turns the key to START. If OK, and the starter doesn't operate, suspect the starter. If there isn't power on the START wire when the key is turned to START, then the control part of the circuit is faulty.
