My air shocks in the back wont rise at all anymore. Why?

My rear shocks had came up very seldom for a while then one night while they were trying to come up I could here something soundin like its tearing up under the hood. Ever since my rear shocks wont budge, its low to da grond, is it a compressor or do my shocks need replacing?

possible leak(tearing sound) in air bag or lines from compressor. possible compressor failure. get air pressure test on air bags and air lines. may need to replace them.
may want to consider after market suspension kit as replacement for air ride system. more reliable as there are no air bags to puncture, or compression motor to worry about or maintain.
