My 1991 Lincoln town car will not start.

I replaced the switch and key. Checked the ground wire. Still not starting. Jumping it nothing. It doesn't make a sound and still have power to the rest of the car. What else can I do?

Try starting in neutral first..... If no luck.... Take a hammer and knock the hell out of the starter while helper 'holds' key to start.... if starter even attempts to crank engine or condition changes... now hear clicking..... Replace the starter motor assembly!!... Post results..

I did that before I got it tested.and now my battery is going dead. So I'll replace that this week.OK...update June 16th new battery, starter and a few broken tools later it still is dead. Anymore suggestions?

Try replacing these. Plugs and wires, fuel pump and filter, belts
